Definition of terms

“Us” the company, Develop Me, or representatives thereof

“You” the customer, course attendee or purchaser of course place(s)

Booking Courses

Once booked you will receive a confirmation email to confirm your place on the course. Your place on the course is not confirmed unless you are in receipt of this email, and, at this point, it forms a binding contract between you and us.

Once booked you are bound by our cancellation policy, set out below.

Course Prices

Unless otherwise shown, advertised prices are stated inclusive of VAT.

We reserve the right to change the price of any of our courses, and will, at our discretion, notify you of the pricing change as soon as possible.

Upon price changes you will either be offered the chance to confirm your place at the new price, paying or having been repaid the difference, or you will be offered a full refund.

Participation in Courses

Courses will take place at the venue and at the date and time advertised and detailed in the confirmation email. 

It is your responsibility to organise travel to the venue and to make sure you arrive with plenty of time.

We cannot be held responsible for failure to arrive at the course and you will not be entitled to a refund or replacement.

When attending a course you will need to bring your confirmation email and may be asked to provide a form of identification.

If you wish to change the name of the person attending the course you may do so at any time provided you notify us by email to hello@developme.training, no later than 2 working days prior to the start of the course.

We reserve the right to refuse any attendee on any of our courses at any time and for any reason. If you are refused attendance other than for a breach of these Terms you will be refunded any fees that you have paid to us for the relevant course.

You agree not to solicit or attempt to solicit, whether directly or indirectly the services of any of our employees, consultants, representatives or other persons involved in providing our courses at any time after placing your booking up to 12 months after the course has finished.

Changes to Courses

If the course times, or venue, changes we will notify you on the email address provided at registration. Please ensure this email is monitored and is able to receive email. 

We will provide reasonable notice of any changes to the time, date or the venue and, if you are unable to attend the course due to these changes, you will be entitled to a full refund or offered a replacement course at a suitable time and venue (subject to availability). 


Cancellation by Develop Me

We reserve the right to cancel any course at any time at our absolute discretion.

We will notify customers as soon as possible about any cancellations.

In the event of us cancelling a course we will give a full refund, including any payment or booking fees incurred, i.e. you will receive a refund of 100% of course cost. 

In the event of a cancellation we offer the customer 10% off of a future course of similar cost for the inconvenience and as a show of goodwill.

However, Develop Me take no responsibility for and are not liable to refund any further costs incurred by the customer, e.g. for accommodation, travel or equipment hire.

Notifying customers of cancellation

We will notify customers of course cancellation by email to the email address taken on booking the course, so please ensure this email is monitored and is able to receive email.

Cancellation by you, the customer

Up to 1 week before

Cancellations up to one week before, i.e. over 168 hours from start of workshop, will receive a full refund, less any payment or booking fees incurred by Develop Me. These fees vary depending on course and booking system, so please enquire.

Within 1 week

Cancellations within one week (less than 168 hours from start of workshop) will receive a refund at the discretion of Develop Me.

Notifying Develop Me of cancellation

 Cancellations should be made by email to hello@developme.training, and we will acknowledge receipt of the cancellation request. 


Unless otherwise stated you will be required to provide your own personal equipment, e.g. laptop, and any required software.

Software requirements, if any, will be listed on each course or in a separate email prior to course, and it will be your responsibility to ensure you have this software installed and working before attending the course.

To minimise disruption and to ensure delivery of good experience to our other attendees we can’t help resolve either hardware or software issues with your own equipment.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the site and in any content or material published or made available on the site are owned by us. 

All intellectual property in any course materials used by us or our instructors during any of our courses including but not limited to; any presentations, manuals, reports, pictures, video, data, written questions or exercises, code and any other works, content or materials of any kind whatsoever are owned by us.


If any part of these Terms is found to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by a court or regulator, the remainder of these Terms will be valid and enforceable to the extent permitted by applicable law. 

We may revise these Terms at any time by amending this page. Your use of the site will be subject to the most recent version of these terms available on the site. Your participation in any of our courses will be subject to the terms that were current at the time you placed the booking for those courses.
